TERMS & CONDITIONS-CANACELLATION POLICY

How does it work?

Please note that we are not affiliated with the Ministry of Transportation or DriveTest. By opting for our road test booking service, you agree to an admin and processing fee for the appointment. We aim to save you valuable time that would otherwise be spent searching for available road test slots, especially since many centers are fully booked for months.

Our innovative booking system, coupled with our dedicated team, continuously monitors openings day and night. We act promptly to secure appointments that match your criteria, though we cannot guarantee an exact match if someone else cancels.

Booking through our service eliminates the need for constant manual checks on drivetest.ca. Our system significantly increases your chances of securing the desired slot, often booked within minutes of availability. This approach is ideal for those seeking last-minute openings to expedite the licensing process.

Upon submitting your request and making a payment (including $91.25 for G road test and $53.75 for G2 road test booking fees paid to DriveTest), our team initiates a search on your behalf. Once a fitting appointment is found, we instantly secure it, providing you with the fastest road test booking experience.

In the rare event that we can’t find your requested booking, it means the desired slot isn’t available. Requests are processed on a first-come, first-serve basis. If another customer submits a similar request just before yours, you may be second in line for that location and time.

Once we successfully book your road test, you’ll receive a prompt email notification. Please ensure your email information is accurate and regularly check your inbox. We are not responsible if you miss notifications or fail to show up for the test.

Note that if your road test is canceled due to inclement weather, non-compliance with COVID-19 rules, or an unfit vehicle, we bear no responsibility. The process of finding a suitable slot begins immediately after you place the order, and you’ll receive your booking details within 15 days.

If we cannot find the requested date and time at your preferred location, we will notify you. Should additional information be needed for booking, such as license number and expiry date or an abstract from Service Ontario, we will request it via email.

After completion and booking, any changes or cancellations can be made by visiting the DriveTest website or contacting them directly. Please note that no refunds will be issued.

Terms and Conditions and Cancellation Policy

1.1 Effective January 13, 2021, you have the option to cancel your placed order. A cancellation fee of $28.50 will be applied to cover payment processing and refund costs to the payment processing company, resulting in a partial refund.

1.2 If the road test booking fee was paid to the Ministry but the test was not booked, a charge of the paid booking fee plus $28.50 will be levied, and a refund will be issued to you.

1.3 Once your test is booked and we have transferred the booking fee ($91.25 for G and $53.75 for G2) from our account to the Ministry’s account, you can use it anytime for your test or request a refund directly from the Ministry. If the booking fee is paid from our account, it means you have flexibility in choosing your test date.

1.4 Orders will be closed three months from the order placement date. If no response is received from the customer, no refunds will be provided in this case.

1.5 The refund process typically takes 4-10 business days after your request is submitted.

1.6 Refunds will not be issued in full if additional information, such as correct driver’s license number and expiry date, is requested. However, if you wish to reschedule, you can do so yourself or use our services by paying an additional $58.00 rebooking fee through E-transfer to info@drivetestontario.ca. Contact us at least 72 hours before the booked test expires to utilize this service.

1.7 We are not responsible if your road test is canceled due to inclement weather, non-compliance with COVID-19 rules, if you fail to show up for the test, or for any other reason.

1.8 Once your fee is paid to DriveTest for booking your test, and the booking confirmation email is sent to you, no refunds are available. It is your responsibility to check your email frequently.

1.9 When placing an order, you can include a special note, such as specific dates or days that do not suit you. Note that this information cannot be changed once the booking is completed.

ADMINISTRATION FEE

For each of our services, an administration charge is applicable at the time of booking. The price covers additional services such as securing suitable dates, changing road test appointments, and providing assistance and advice on test preparation.

For all inquiries, please email info@drivetestontario.ca or use the contact form on our “Contact Us” page.

PAYMENT DISPUTES

2.1 In the event that a customer initiates a payment dispute, we cannot issue a refund until the cardholder’s bank reaches a decision. An email will be sent to the customer requesting resolution, accompanied by evidence such as order details, confirmation emails, and receipts. We will await a decision for 7 business days.

2.2 To retain a booked slot, please email us and make a payment of the drive test booking fee plus $28.50 ONLY through E transfer to info@drivetestontario.ca.

2.3 If we do not receive a reply or payment from the customer within 7 business days, the booked slot will be canceled.

2.4 Even if the order payment is fully refunded to the cardholder, the customer is still obligated to send us the drive test booking fee that was initially covered by us via E transfer. Failure to do so gives us the right to cancel the booking appointment at any time.

2.5 In the case of a dispute initiated by the customer, their information, including a copy of the driver’s license and all contact details, will be provided to the bank.

Refund Timeline

Upon initiating a refund, customers should expect to see a pending transaction on their bank account for the refunded amount within 1–3 business days. The posting timeline depends on the card-issuing bank.

Note: Pending transaction notifications are applicable to payments made with Visa or Mastercard but not for American Express, Discover, and other card networks.

The full refund process by our payment processing company typically takes 2–7 business days. After the refund is processed and sent to the customer’s card-issuing bank, it may take an additional 2–7 business days (depending on the bank’s processing speeds) for the refund to reflect in the customer’s account. In total, it can take 4–14 business days for the customer to receive their refund.

Payments processed online are only eligible for a refund within 120 days.
